About John
Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, John has always had a fire for skiing. He started competing in mogul contests, but was always drawn to the terrain park. After spending a summer at SMS ski camps with Vinnie Dorion, and Philou Porrier, and seeing the ski movie “13” drop, Spriggs new his calling was FREERIDE. Soon he began competing in slope-style, half pipe, and big- air, going pro at 16 and placing 6th at X-games by age 17. John continues to push the sport in both contests and video segments and continues to push himself and the sport in a positive direction while never loosing sight of what skiing is all about.... having fun!!!
